Dr. Alemu received his medical degree from Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and his fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS in 2012.

Dr. Alemu joined Midwest Nephrology Group in 2012.  His areas of interest include caring for and treating patients with various types of chronic kidney disease and dialysis.
