Dr. Ambaw received his medical degree from Jimma University School of Medicine, Jimma, Ethiopia.  He completed his residency training at Mercer University of Medicine in Macon, GA and his fellowship in Nephrology at University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio, TX in 2012.

Dr. Ambaw joined Midwest Nephrology Group in 2012.  He serves as the Medical Director for the on site laboratory at our Midwest City office and the Davita Dialysis Center in Yukon.  Dr. Ambaw has participated as a sub investigator in several research studies focusing on chronic kidney disease.
